My Spring kitchen….

March 19, 2012 By Jennifer

I am so happy the weather is beautiful here and I can bring a bit of spring indoors! I thought I would share an update of my spring kitchen decor with you.
Here are some pictures of our kitchen before the remodel and cabinet painting.

It was so dark with the old oak cabinets! It’s hard to believe it’s the same kitchen!

You can read more details about our kitchen remodel here.
Now here is our Spring kitchen!

I love being able to bring in some fresh flowers. I think they make a huge difference! I love the brightness that the white cabinets bring into our kitchen. I can’t believe how nervous and worried I was about painting my cabinets white.  I was worried if I painted it and it would be permanent that I would hate it and not be able to go back. I don’t regret painting them at all!!!
I love the pop of color that the tulips bring!
I am always a sucker for an Anthropologie mug… or maybe two or three.
It’s just nice that Spring is on it’s way in and there is a certain brightness outside, like the sun is finally warming up.
Jen

I have adored your kitchen in stalker fashion for some time now. I spent a lot of time pining for my own bright, vintagy, cottage-eque kitchen and yours was bookmarked along the way. I adore your hutch, the touches of silver, the worn signs over the pantry, and so much more!

I can’t believe how much this looks like my kitchen! Same exact layout except I have a shelf above my cupboards that runs around my entire kitchen that I keep my collection of Watkins and Royal China pie plates on. I even have an island that was made out of a double cupboard. My goodness! I was shocked to see this on pinterest! LOL But yours is MUCH nicer-looking than mine at the moment!
