More likely carry me back from old Virginny…

We got in at 9 p.m. last night.

There’s nothing like trekking across the U.S. from Illinois to West Virginia and back with 3 kids under the age of 7; Picture me for 12 hours mostly riding backwards passing out snacks, drinks and the occasional threat.

I’d love to say I’ve seen a lot of historical sites, but what I really saw was the inside of a lot of McDonald’s bathrooms.

We stayed with friends in a remote area and we saw beautiful mountains, clean air and deer everywhere.

And the kids really were quite good despite all of my complaining.

It was a great family bonding time, and a wonderful memory maker.

We headed up to Pittsburgh, PA one day and went to the amazing children’s museum there. On the way home we stopped in Columbus at the fantastic North Market.

I have some pictures to follow and more things to share.

I really missed you.
