DIY hand-stamped eggs for any time of the year
Happy New Year! this is a repost from March 1,2013

I wanted to share a project that would be great for any season!
DIY hand-stamped eggs!
I love these paper mache eggs from the craft store.
I pulled out my white paint, stamps and ink.
I painted my eggs and let them dry.
I inked up my stamp and carefully got to work. I found there is a technique to stamping on a not-so-flat- surface; it involves gently rocking the stamp around the surface with out letting it slide. I did have to re-paint a time or two until I had the technique down.
Then I kind of rolled them across the surface of one of my big text stamps to get the background texture.
They aren’t perfect, but I love how they look grouped together.
I bought the stamps a few years ago from Cavallini papers and co., Inc., and I use them all of the time.

So cute. I was stumped for a moment when I read the post title. I kept thinking “Hand Stamped Egg”…what have I missed? 😀 I really love these and will be making a few. They would be darling in gift baskets and as gift tags! Thanks!
Thank you! Happy New Year!
