Exciting news…I’m a Michaels Maker
Hi everyone, I wanted to share some exciting news with you. I was selected this year to partner with Michaels as a Michaels Maker and Makers Movement!
The best part is, I am headed to the Michaels Makers Summit at the end of this week in California with the other “Makers” !
 They are partnering with Creativebug
to bring us some fun things to do based on some of their most popular on-line classes.
I was really excited when I found our who the classes were by:
Watercolor with Yao Cheng...I’ve actually posted her products before, she does beautiful paintings that she puts on tea towels. I love her artwork.
- Paper flowers with Livia Cetti.
- Weaving with Annabel Wrigley.
- Image transfers with Courtney Cerruti.
I’ve never had the opportunity to go to anything like this before, so I am just over the moon about this. I’ll be Instagramming what’s happening all weekend so you can follow along!
If you want to check it out you can follow me at Jenniferrizzodesigncompany.
I haven’t been to California in about 20 years, so it will be really fun for the change of scenery. I heard it’s actually cooler there than here, so I’ll need to pack layers. I am also excited to get to meet a bunch of the other Makers. Some of them I have met, but there are others who I know just through years of blogging, and there are a few who I am huge fans of, so it will be so amazing to finally get to meet them in person! I am also looking for a great creative recharge since I couldn’t go to Haven this year.
I’ll fill you in on everything when I get back!
I am sure hubby and the kids will have a great time while I am gone, we have family coming in from out of the country, so they won’t even miss me. In fact, normally they have a good time when I am gone because Dad is pretty fun. The kids say I yell a lot. Imagine that. Ha.
