Flashback Friday.. Holiday home tour 2009

Even before I started the holiday house walk , I liked to decorate for Christmas. It is interesting to see how my decorating style has changed though!

I thought I would share  a flashback with you today of my 2009 holiday home tour. This was from the time when I used a point and shoot camera with flash!

Here’s a little tour of my holiday house tour decorations! Every year, even though I have the same things, I like to use them in new ways.

I love lining up battery operated candles on the mini-sofa table.

and here’s a sleigh full of sparkly goodies.

The tree has vintage Shiny Brite ornaments and the mirror is the one I made from dollar store mirrors.

I love the hot cocoa in a jar, the kids keep asking to eat the marshmallows!

and I can’t resist a little concrete bird!

And finally, I wish for world peace. I hope they can spell it better than they do in my house.

  1. I love to see how people’s style change over time. It’s even better when you use the same items (just in different ways). By the way, I know I’ve said it before, but I really do enjoy your book.
