Updates and getting ready for Fall
I’ve been getting ready for Fall and wanted to chat and some answers to questions asked about some of my recent projects!
Things are changing a lot around here in good ways!I wanted to do a bit of catching up!

Things have been a bit bonkers around here.I came back form Haven,we had a death in the family, and then right away what we like to refer to as Pneumoniagate happened. It was weirdo craziness. Thank you for asking how Little has been. She has been doing wonderfully. It’s amazing how kids bounce back. There’s nothing like talking to the pediatrician and have them tell you it’s one of the weirdest things they’ve seen. Thank you God for modern medicine. She is back to school, and even though she loves her teacher and her friends, she’s already told me she hates it, so I know she’s feeling better and life is almost back to normal. Ha ha. Oh… kids.
This picture was from a few years ago. I can’t wait to show you how the front walk has changed this Fall when everything blooms!
As I am ramping up for another season of speaking engagements, holiday and regular classes and book signings (If you are in Illinois, let me know if you want me to come speak to your group or teach a class!). I’ve been getting asked a lot if I am writing another book. The answer is yes and no. A while ago I had another book in the works that didn’t quite work out. So, I am now actually working on a fictional book (I think I mentioned that before), and slowing working on another project based book that is slowly moving along. Life takes those odd turns sometimes. Sometimes you just gotta roll with it. I will also be at the Urban Farmgirl Main Street Market on Septemeber 10th, so come and see me!
You can now find some of my products a few places!!On Wayfair (which is really exciting!), Kess InHouse, and even Walmart!
Drops of Vintage Indigo pillow
I loved hearing your reactions on Facebook and Instagram to my painted vintage buffet. I wanted to share a few resources with you.
The paint was Decoart Chalky finish paint in Artifact. It’s a beautiful, light gray,on-trend color.
I had A LOT of questions about the resources for this mug rack. I bought mine almost 7 years ago, but Amazon had a version of it here.
With all of the craziness, I know book club has fallen behind and I am sure you guys are done! I have a few chapters left to go!
I’m also starting Without Rival: Embrace Your Identity and Purpose in an Age of Confusion and Comparison by Lisa Bevere.
Even though I’ve been enjoying The Weekenders, I needed a little soul care after the last few weeks.
I am ready to dive into all of the fun of Fall and hopefully have things a bit calmer for a while…Ha ha. I have a funny sense of humor, I know!
