Sewing craft, make cute jingle bell guest towels

Here’s another really easy crafty project: Make DIY jingle bell guest towels for your holiday bathroom decorating! They look so darn cute, and  It’s easy to sew some cute ribbon on too!

It involves really inexpensive towels I bought at Walmart, an 8 inch piece of ribbon, a sparkly button and some craft store jingle bells.

You can pick up the jingle bells at the craft store in a pack. I just sewed them on individually on the bottom knotting after each one, at it actually went really fast. It was one of those projects I sat and did in front of the TV after the kids were in bed.

And believe me, I like to sew, but I am no expert!

Then I tied the bow, sewed that on and then the button underneath. I put them together and apart on my leopard towels. I kind of though it was cute to mix it up a little with the animal print for Christmas. I don’t know if the bells would make it in the washing machine, so I am using mine just for decoration. I’ll have to keep them out of reach of my little ones, I don’t want them choking on one and I really don’t want to find one in a diaper either.

But it is a great way to add a little extra something. I told my kids to dry their hand on the towel underneath and I can tell when my kids actually wash their hands and dry them in the bathroom by the jingling. 🙂 These jingle bell guest towels are one of those nice, little touches to add to your holiday decor.
