#Loveyourneighbor Design House Progress
I have some quick snaps from my phone to share with you from the #Loveyourneighbor design house. I am so excited to be asked to be one of their interior designers! I love being able to transform a room. Many of the home owners I have staged for have wished they were staying instead of selling. I do local in-person and on-line consulting as well. If you’re interested, drop me an email!
The walls are freshly painted, and I love how paint transforms! I picked a lovely color called Winter Orchard by Benjamin Moore. I’ve been in love with this shade forever because I think it’s the perfect gray backdrop for color.
Check out the completed room here.
I love this color. I think I know what I am going to paint my bedroom next.
I also found some really fun vintage chairs.I really want to mix different styles and make them all blend together, because that’s how most people decorate. They take things they’ve had for years, some of them hand me downs, some new and make it all work.
These chairs below are actually a sagey-green color, which is totally coming back in style. They do not look as ugly like they do in these pictures. They have some awesome retro legs I can’t wait to expose from under the heavy skirt.
Country Curtains are dressing our windows so I picked this pretty water color drapery set . I think it’s called Painter’s Palette or something similar with Brass rods.
And I cam across this awesome geometric table.
I started painting it and realized I dind’t have a before picture so I snapped quick one.
I know it all looks super hodge-podge, but I can’t wait until it all comes together. I have some really fun art planned too!
The design house is the first weekend in May, in Wheaton, IL.
You can still get tickets if you’re interested! Hurry before they run out. This would be a great mother/daughter trip or a girls event!
For more information you can visit Serenade.
Love it all! Can’t wait to see the finished product!
