Hi Everyone! The #Loveyourneighbor design house and artisan market is this next weekend in Wheaton, IL and if you live locally (Or you want to drive a little) I have some free tickets to give away!!
I have two sets of tickets for the preview night (Thursday) and two sets for the regular night tickets (Fri/Sat).
Here’s a little bit about the event:
- Thursday, April 30, 2015 / 5:00pm-8:00, featuring the first look at the showcase house, exclsuive raffles, beverages and appetizers and music by Amy Yassinger.
Limited Tickets Available for the Premier Night.
- Serenade will host an designer showcase house and artisan market. The event will take place May 1st & 2nd, 9:ooam – 4:00pm. The market portion will be held outdoors in the parking lot and garden of the shop where local artists will bring their wonderful wares and gifts to fill your home and also to gift to those you love.
- In addition, during the market, Serenade’s historic house will be open as a mini-designer showcase featuring local area designers who will each decorate a room. Each designer will reveal new trends and inspiration for the year along with their own unique style and feature vintage and local area furniture, accessories, and lighting all available for purchase.
- TICKETS ALSO AVAILABLE ONLINE, $25 in Advance and $30 at Door.
The whole idea is that by loving your home, purchasing design items to fill it and buying gifts for others locally , we will also love our neighbors as ourselves by supporting those in need. The attendees will be able to nominate local individuals or families in need and the proceeds will go to filling as many as it will allow. As the bible instructs us, we are to love everyone as our neighbor and through design, Love Your Neighbor, non for profit, is fulfilling God’s love through simple acts to help others.
I will be there Thursday night and would love to meet you if you are coming! I will also be in and out on Friday and Saturday.I can’t wait for you to see the rooms. Every room is so different. And the best part is, everything in the rooms is for sale and proceeds go to charity. It’s fun to see everyone’s designs and style emerge.
My husband is also going to be standing in for me this weekend at Kane, so my booth will be in the Poultry barn and I’ll be popping back and forth. Between that and the kids stuff, it will be a busy weekend!

The drawing closes Wednesday Morning! Good luck, I can’t wait to meet you!
