Seeing stripes

Looking back through my portfolio, I realized I’ve done more striped rooms than I had thought. I am not a big striped fan.. not because I don’t love the look, I do, and I have some rooms in my house that are striped…. It’s just all of that darn taping…

But I found the biggest trick to taping is to measure the wall, 

divide it by the size stripes you would like.. and use a level to mark your lines.  

And make sure you tape to the outside of your stripe and the inside of your negative space…

That doesn’t mean you won’t still swear a lot however…

especially after looking at all of those blue lines to make sure they are straight…

But stripes have such  a great impact for such little money… 

except for all of that blue tape,

and swearing. 🙂
