About Jennifer Rizzo

(If you’re interested in a partnership or sponsorship, please skip to the end of the post)
Hi, I’m Jennifer Rizzo, owner and the creative behind Jennifer Rizzo Home + Studio and Jennifer Rizzo Design Company.  I started this site as a way to share creative ideas (in 2007!), and it’s blossomed into so much more. It’s become a place where you and I can be creative in our homes. Where we can make handmade home decor, decorate with new and vintage finds, make art, and express our creativity through design, decorating and getting messy with hand-on projects.

A Little About Me, and Who I Am:

I am a mom and live with my kid and hubby in the suburbs of Chicago, and own an art studio. I love to paint, coffee, making things and my garden. I started late in life in my creative journey after years of doing other career paths. It feels so good to be where I belong and with art you. belong too.

Over the last 18 years (eek! Time flies!), it’s been fun to share art tutorials, painting furniture, room redesigns and more. I want you to feel empowered to go with your gut in your home, to try a new project you’ve never done, and to decorate your home in away that fits you and your family’s life and style and that you feel free to put your home together in a way you love. Decorating, crafting and creating doesn’t have to be expensive either. A little paint and creativity go a long way and can really stretch a budget to create a beautiful space. I hope you feel inspired by many of the projects and ideas here, and try them yourself, on your own time. Even if it’s not perfect, that’s ok…Progress over perfection is the way to go.

Make sure to sign up for the email list to get bonus printables and more including your Guide to 5 Creative Projects to Transform Your Home. I’ll also keep you updated on current workshops I’m teaching and shop insights.
