Coming up events and fun holiday shows
I have some events coming up and some fun holiday shows I wanted to share with you!
I am excited to announce I will be speaking and doing some fun holiday demonstrations at the Manhattan-Elwood public library!
I am going to talk about how I started out and the amazing journey I’ve been on the last 9+ years! I’ll also be demo-ing projects and signing books.
If you’re in the area, you can register here!
This weekend I’ll again be at The 3 French Hens holiday market in my regular spot.
I’ll have lots of holiday goodies, books and pillows!
And, you can also stop by and see me at
the Room 363 Washington street market in Naperville.
I also have a few other things coming up I’ll announce soon too. It’s a fun and busy holiday season!
If you can’t make the shows, you can still visit my holiday shop here!
Jen, I decoupaged a coffee table top with fabric, but I’m afraid the poly will turn the white portions of the fabric yellow. I’ve read lots of opinions, but it seems that even the water-based poly will yellow to some degree. The legs of this table are bright white, so I can’t afford any yellowing. Since it’s a coffee table, I feel it needs more protection than the top coats of Fabric Mod Podge. Any suggestions on what to use to protect this tabletop fabric?
Thanks so much!
Debbie
I would probably look into having a piece of plexiglass or glass cut for it to really protect it. I use Min-wax polyacrylic. Do a test strip first and see if it really yellows or not. It might just deepen the color.
Thanks so much!
