Cottage Bathroom with Beadboard

When my clients bought this house, it was sold as-is. The bathroom needed a lot of TLC. We opted to add beadboard to the drywall and they  knew they wanted to tiled shower. We decided to go with a light and bright cottage bathroom with beadboard.

It took a while to have the contractor redo the floor and bathroom tile, and remove the surround. After all of the un-fun work, but they finally have all of the wood work done, the vanity in,the toilet up and running and the faucets on!!

We added a pretty, rectangular glass medicine cabinet.

I picked the Ashville Faucet by Moen. I loved how it kind of gives a contemporary edge to the bath with the more modern vanity.

The tile looks so clean and fresh. I can’t wait to see it finished.

The wall color is a pretty and serene blue.

Even though it’s a cozy bathroom, it looks so light and airy now! I am in love with subway tile. I want to rip my own shower down now and put it up! Once the contractor replaced the trim and curtain was hung,  it was a completely new bathroom from the original!
