Moon and Frog Wall Mural
One of my favorite murals I painted was of a frog fishing and catching the moon. One of my customers wanted this as a wall mural and I decided to take my own creative freedom with it and we wanted to match the scene to the quilt she already had. The walls were painted a pretty sage green color.

We based the colors on the quilt the owner had. We striped the walls and painted a harlequin border in the quilt colors.

While the moon was still sleeping.

The frog managed to rope him in while sitting on a rock fishing.

He needed an extra long rope so there is a knot tied in the middle. This is the other side of the room where the stripes continue around.

We also decided to paint the dresser as well to go with the room theme.

It was just a plain, wood dresser.

It really needed a refresh with some color and we decided to take some inspo from the quilts and the border on the wall.

So using the same paints, we came up with a pattern and really love how sweet it turned out. It’s the perfect accent for the room.

And then of course we needed a little sign to add a touch to the other wall with a sweet quote.
Reach for the moon, even if you miss, you will land amongst the stars….
