How to Make an Easy Felt Maple Leaf Garland
Happy fall everyone! It’s Angela from Number Fifty-Three and I am so happy to be back here sharing another fun and easy craft project with you all! Make an easy felt Maple leaf garland.

Autumn is by far my favorite season to decorate my home for. I just love pumpkins and leaves and all things that are just a little bit spooky!I also love to create a lot of my own decorations. This felt leaf garland was so inexpensive and took no time at all.

Here’s what you need: Sheets of felt in your choice of colors (you can choose neutral or colorful fall colors!), leaf pattern (I printed one on cardstock that I found on line), fine tip marker, scissors, embroidery floss and needle, and twill ribbon.

Simply trace the leaf pattern onto the felt and cut out with your scissors. Arrange the different color leaves into the pattern of your choice. It helps to lay it out on a flat surface to see how your pattern lays out. Attach the ribbon to the back of each leaf with a simple cross stitch. Knot it off in the back and the sew on the next maple leaf!

Super easy, right! And so cute! I loved using neutral colors to make my maple leaf felt garland, but bright fall felt colors would be so fun and festive! Change up the ribbon for something fun too.

And, you can completely customize it to your fall décor. This year, I went totally neutral; sticking with lots of white, black and gray, and this garland just fits in perfectly.

super cute, angela! love the simple stitch accent!
Thanks so much, Cassie! 🙂
