Welcome to those of you who have stopped over from The Inspired Room and The Nesting  Place!I am so excited to have you here today and to share the first of the 16 lovely homes on our week long house walk! No fees, no bad weather, and no real walking! I’ll kick off the tour with my house and then the next two stops on the tour will follow! Funky Junk Interiors! So grab a cup of coffee, put your feet up, and enjoy all of the holiday prettiness and inspiration!!!

Gold-framed mirror with hanging greenery above a blue dresser, decorated with a birdcage, small clock, ceramic bird, books, and a Christmas tree reflected in the mirror—welcome to the Virtual Holiday Housewalk 2011.

Welcome to my front entry. Please come in! I love the gold mirror with a bit of holiday greenery swagged from it.
A decorated living room welcomes you to the Virtual Holiday Housewalk 2011, featuring a Christmas tree, white fireplace with a "MERRY" banner, festive wreath, poinsettias, glowing candles, and an armchair topped with a colorful pillow.
I am enjoying having a mantle to dress up. I made the Merry garland, and you can see how to make your own here. It was so easy and it’s so festive!
Welcome to the Virtual Holiday Housewalk 2011! A decorated fireplace features a "MERRY" banner, greenery, candles, poinsettias, framed pictures, and a holiday wreath, with a patterned pillow on a nearby chair.
I filled the opening with greenery and flameless candles for  a pretty glow. I love creating vignettes and adding greenery with the glow of the candles seemed like the perfect way.
Three white pillar candles and green pine branches surround green and gold ornament balls, creating a festive arrangement for the Welcome to the Virtual Holiday Housewalk 2011.
When all of the battery operated candles are switched on its so cozy at night with the lights turned low and the glitter of the mercury glass ornaments.
An open vintage suitcase filled with Christmas ornaments, a small pine wreath with pinecones, and a wooden sign that reads “Glad Tidings,” welcome you to the Virtual Holiday Housewalk 2011.
I thought it would be fun to fill a vintage suitcase with a wreath and a glad tidings sign and then fill with ornaments. It’s kind of quirky and I like it.
Four upside-down glass jars containing miniature Christmas trees and artificial snow are displayed on a windowsill, offering a charming example of how to make snow globes without water.
My daughters and I spent a crafting afternoon and re-purposed all of the old salsa and pickle jars I’ve saved and made the min-snow globes that are so hot right now. These are so much fun and I love how they turned out!
A miniature snow globe, perfect for the Welcome to the Virtual Holiday Housewalk 2011, featuring a small artificial pine tree and a paper cutout of a horse-drawn sleigh inside an upside-down glass jar.
I think these are the cutest things ever. I think we are going to make some for the teachers. See how to make your own waterless snowglobes here.
A pine wreath with pinecones hangs from a wooden rod on a rustic door with a worn burlap background, welcoming you to the Virtual Holiday Housewalk 2011.
A wreath hung on a vintage hanger  is a fun way to display it. Over the sink a boxwood wreath looks so pretty with a pinecone garland and a noel sign.
A green wreath with a banner hangs in a kitchen window above a sink, as part of the Welcome to the Virtual Holiday Housewalk 2011, with pinecone garland and small potted plants on the windowsill.
Do you collect ironstone pitchers? I’ve been collecting little ones and they looks so pretty with little berry branches in them on the windowsill.
A green wreath with a "NOEL" sign hangs in a window above a kitchen sink, welcoming you to the Virtual Holiday Housewalk 2011—silver faucet and white dishes complete the festive scene on the windowsill.
I made the Joyeux Noel Towel using the Citri-solv method.  It’s so fun and festive.
A white cloth with "JOYEUX NOËL" embroidered in grey rests on a counter beside a white plate holding a whole pomegranate and a cut pomegranate, welcoming you to the Virtual Holiday Housewalk 2011.
A white ceramic pitcher with a single twig bearing red berries sits on a windowsill beside another white vessel, capturing the cozy charm of the Welcome to the Virtual Holiday Housewalk 2011.
Thank you so much for coming by my place! I hope you enjoyed the tour! Here is a sneak peek at stops 2 and 3! Click on the button to take the full tour of these amazing homes!

Since my house is upside with a water flood issue, there will be no holiday decorating this year as we wait for contractors and new flooring to be installed. So glad to see what you lovely home looks like all decorated up. SEa Witch
