This easy vintage drawer pull clip board is a great way to use antique hardware, and scrap lumber to create something cool and useful.
To go along with my free cookie gift tag printable, I made an easy Vintage Drawer Pull Clip Board to hang the larger printable on. A while ago I came across a vendor at the flea market who was selling old brass drawer pulls, and handles. Of course, I bought a bunch thinking I would use them for a “someday” project. I paired it with a piece of 11 x 14 scrap lumber I had hanging around, Today was the day, as I join up with the thrifty style team! This is an under $10 project, and a great way to not only use as a memo board, but also can be used to display art!

While I picked up my handles at the flea market, they can also be found on a vintage marketplace like Etsy.
Before I did anything, I started by marking where I wanted my drawer pull to sit on my board, and where the threaded screws would go in.
After drilling the holes slightly larger than my screw sizes, I used brown acrylic paint to “stain” my wood.
I pushed the back of my screws through the pre-drilled holes and used the original screws on the back. If you are worried about the back screws sticking out too far, you can put screw cap nuts on the back.
When securing the pull, make it just tight enough that you can slip a piece of paper behind it, but it will still hold it in place.
I added my Free North Pole Cookie Company printable to display at our coffee station.
I thought it would be a nice touch as a backdrop with my vintage Santa mugs.
I have a small collection of vintage Santa mugs I’ve picked up from little antique shops, and the ones on the bottom are actually from Pottery Barn. Those, I’ll let the kids drink out of, my real vintage ones are off limits.
I painted a cute image of stacked Santa mugs a few years ago, and it’s still one of my best selling pillows at the holidays.
