Easy DIY Easter burlap canvas sign
Hi there! I’m Julie and I blog at Lilacs and Longhorns. You can also find me on the new bHome App. I hope you’ll come and find me there so we can connect!
I’m so happy to be helping Jen out while she is recovering from surgery this week. Let’s all send our best thoughts and prayers her way for a quick recovery.
Last spring I discovered stretched burlap canvas and made a couple of super easy and fun projects that I am sharing with you today!
The first project I made was this spring Easter burlap canvas sign that can hang indoors or out. You can find the tutorial for it here.
The second time around I decided to do something even easier. I made a sign for Easter:
It took about 20 minutes. These are my kind of projects — I love fast and easy!
- blank burlap canvas
- some burlap ribbon
- 3 pom pom balls
- letter stencils
- black craft paint
- hot glue
- a picture of a bunny silhouette (I printed mine from clkr.com)
Print out bunny silhouette picture and cut it out using an sharp blade — I used an Exacto-O knife.
Using the bunny silhouette as a stencil, paint the shapes on to the canvas, then do the same with the letters.
Hot glue the pom poms on each bunny tail and then hot glue on a bow – easy!
If you like these projects you may also like my new spring door decor. If you’re not much of a wreath-maker this is the perfect project for you!
You can find more crafts, decor, diy, recipes and organizing tips and tricks on my blog, Lilacs and Longhorns.
Thanks so much for having me here today, Jen. Get well soon!
Thanks for helping Jen out, Julie! Praying for her quick recovery!
I am heading to your blog now, sounds awesome. So does that bHome app!
Have a wonderful weekend.
