I’m so happy to be helping Jen out while she is recovering from surgery this week.  Let’s all send our best thoughts and prayers her way for a quick recovery.

Last spring I discovered stretched burlap canvas and made a couple of super easy and fun projects that I am sharing with you today!

The first project I made was this spring Easter burlap canvas sign that can hang indoors or out.  You can find the tutorial for it here.

The second time around I decided to do something even easier.  I made a sign for Easter:

Hoppy Easter burlap sign

It took about 20 minutes.   These are my kind of projects — I love fast and easy!

Supplies:

  • blank burlap canvas
  • some burlap ribbon
  • 3 pom pom balls
  • letter stencils
  • black craft paint
  • hot glue
  • a picture of a bunny silhouette (I printed mine from clkr.com)

Directions:

Print out bunny silhouette picture and cut it out using an sharp blade — I used an Exacto-O knife.

Using the bunny silhouette as a stencil, paint the shapes on to the canvas, then do the same with the letters.

Hot glue the pom poms on each bunny tail and then hot glue on a bow – easy!

If you like these projects you may also like my new spring door decor.  If you’re not much of a wreath-maker this is the perfect project for you!

Thanks so much for having me here today, Jen.  Get well soon!
