This haunted house printable was taken from the Embossed Haunted House canvas that was painted on a large scale canvas for a spooky mantel. The mantel also included a drippy candelabra here and flying bats, which you can grab the free halloween printables below for. I am sure there are some ghosts and ghouls in the haunted house I don’t want to meet. In fact, there is a printable below with vintage pumpkins /jack-o-lanterns and witches in the moon that you can use to print and cut out to add to your haunted house printable.
The kids can have fun decorating the house and making it spookier and get in the Halloween spirit, or these can be printed out and used as a banner like this fall leaves and sweater weather printable, embellishments on a party favor, treat bags or invitations. Grab the halloween banner printable below the images are slightly larger so you can get bigger images to cut out.
I’ve also made a sheet of just the witch in the moon image and the jack o’lanterns… They would be so cute as printable cupcake toppers.
Just print on heavy cardstock with food safe ink, cut out, and glue images with non-toxic glue back to back on a food-safe wood stick. What an easy and fun way to decorate!
Just save each file of your free printable halloween image to your computer. All of these images are available for personal use (only).
As a bonus, I even ran it through Photoshop , so if you wanted a fun watercolor look, you can print that out too! To make an easy painted canvas, this free Halloween printable could also be cut out and glued to a pre-painted background.
This version of the haunted house printable is converted to a sketch so it would be easy to use to trace or use as a Halloween coloring pages for candy treat bags or a halloween party. An easy way to transfer this to a canvas would be to save the printable and have it printed as an engineer print. Flip it over and scribble pencil on the back, place over your canvas right side up, and then press over the lines, transferring the pencil to the surface of the canvas. This will give you a great template with easy lines to paint if you want to create a larger canvas like I did!

These bats are so fun and with some black construction paper make easy and resuable decor! To make a few spooky bats with these free Halloween printables, you can have these printed in different sizes such as 5 x 7, 8.5 x 11 and 11 x 17 on your printer and then either transfer onto paper and cut, or cut them out and use them to trace around. I used double stick paint to adhere my spooky bats to the wall. This make them easy to remove at the end of the season when I was ready to change everything out. Add a few spider webs and it makes for some creepy decor!
For outdoor use, use black craft foam sheets. You can then store them away for your next Halloween party, or next year’s spooky Halloween decorations!
Happy Halloween and spooky creating!
