Make Easy Splattered Painted Christmas Tree Canvases

Mini-canvases are not only fun to paint, but add a little pop of decor where ever you need it. While you can create this in any size you like, these 6 x 6 canvases are a perfect fit with the tree stencils and are ready to make over and over again. This is a really fun painting project to do with the kids too. Supplies for the Tree Canvases

Craft paint in color of choice

6 x 6 canvases

Paint daubers

Paint Palette

Box with high sides

Table covering

Paint brushes

6 x 6 holiday stencils

Base Coat the Canvas

Base coat the canvas in a color of choice. We used a beige craft paint for the base of our neutral painting and a fun pink color for the colorful version.

Use craft paint and the pouncer to paint the design from the stencil onto the canvas and let dry.

Immediately remove the stencil from the canvas.

Once the paint is dry, inside of a box, use a brush to lightly splatter paint onto the surface of the painting. Let dry.

Once the paint it dry, you can add glue and glitter, or just display as they are!
