Pom Pom Christmas Tree
HI everyone! I am excited to be a a part of the 12 bloggers of Christmas! Welcome if you are coming over from Vanessa’s! Last year, I shared my upstairs tree with you, this year I have a downstairs tree to share with you! This year I went with a Pom Pom Christmas tree theme.
I needed a smaller tree for our family room space. I really wanted a tree, but it was a tight space. When I saw the Revelstoke Fir, I know it would be perfect, because it wasn’t too tall either!
It was the perfect fit next to our faux mantel!
What I really love about it is how it looks when it’s fully lit. It really is a pretty tree.
The base is a post and stand instead of a traditional tree base, so we were able to cut a hole in the bottom of a $9 Ikea basket and use that at the bottom instead of a traditional skirt. I love how it looks!
We drilled a 2 inch hole and put the base on the floor so the top of it stuck up through the opening and just slid the tree on.
I love how it ended up giving a really fun, casual look to the tree.
I also love how the branches look, and how each little needle looks so real.
It was the right tree for our cozy downstairs.
The tree is lovely and the pompoms are genius!
