Red Bird Vintage Home Shop Displays

One of the other cute shops I was able to take a look at in Morris was Red Bird Vintage; a cute, little shopette inside of Lola’s on 126. E. Washington Street and enjoy all of her Home Shop Displays!

I was able to meet Kay the owner and designer of the shop and she told me how she had a retail store in Oregon, IL years ago.

The love to retail has never left her and she started  her Etsy store a few years ago for of her handmade signs and pillows.

And it’s led her to be featured in Elle Decor and on Chicago’s Home and Garden blog.

She loves to re-purpose antiques with paint and fabric, and she sews and creates amazing home decor that has a wonderfully rustic and vintage feel

And  she carries one of  a kind items  that she has upcycled such as these cute chairs and step stool.

I love her use of letters and numbers in decor and how she creates one of a kind pieces.

You might have seen her if you went to the last Nada show, 3 French Hens or the Kane County Flea Market with all of her fun handmade goods.

Everything she styles tells a wonderful little story. I love this set up with the clock and chair. It almost feels like an old post office to me!

Kay made this super cute cross bag made from a re-purposed army tent!

Her eye for retail display is so good!
