Rustic geometric Thanksgiving tablescape

I am so excited to be joining other talented bloggers on the Thanksgiving tablescape tour hosted by Bre at Rooms for Rent. It’s been a week long tour of beautiful table setting ideas!

A rustic geometric Thanksgiving tablesetting

I am going to call my tablescape rustic geometric with a bit of gold glam. I was very inspired by using geometric shapes, with natural elements. It might have a bit of  bohemian thrown in too.

Outdoor thanksgiving or fall party tablesetting

I set it up outside on our deck on our vintage patio set. I used a vintage wool blanket as the tablecloth.

I added a few pumpkins with wheat on the bench.

The other end has the lovely color of my Japanese Maple.

On the tabletop I used burlap chargers that I added a gold trim to.

For my place cards, I found some cute triangle bottles that I added river rocks to for weight.

I found some cute feather floral stems to put in the top.

and in gold paint pen I added the names. I like how they remind me of inkwells.

Since Bre has invited me to her party, I’ve invited her to mine. 🙂

gold paint marker on clear paint to add to the table decor

I found these great plates with leaves and feathers on them in gold. Over the top I added a clear plate with little words like “loved”

gather writen on a plate in gold paint pen. Write on the underside so it's food safe

“Gather”

Gold and geometric tablesetting, love the feathers

“blessed”

and “grateful”.

I think it really adds to the plate design.

Jewelry chain and feather used as napkin ring

For napkin rings I used an ordinary jewelry chain for a necklace and added a feather to the end of the chain. It has a nice glam rustic feel.

Easy outdoor table setting

The centerpiece is actually a terrarium that I re-purposed.

Fall table setting

I added more river rocks to hold my candle in place for a nice candlelight Thanksgiving.

And the tale isn’t huge so I didn’t want to fill it up with a ton of stuff.

It’s just enough to still have some elbow room.

  3. Such a beautiful and natural looking table, even with the geometric angle on things! (pun intended). I would love it if you could stop by and share your beautiful table at Celebrate if Sunday. The party opens at 8 PM EST on Saturday night. I am pinning and sharing this over at Twitter and FB. I hope to see you at the party!
