Simple Fall living room decor
As a part of the Farmhouse decorating series, hosted by Ella Claire Inspired,we are sharing our family and living rooms. I decided to do simple Fall living room decor this year. Sometimes I love just enjoying little touches of Fall around my home as decor.
I love how the light hits this room in the afternoon every day. Even in the Fall and winter, it floods with sunlight.
I brought the outside in by adding some mums to a wood vase. I love this red variety with the yellow center for a pop of color.
I even kept the mantel simple. Some mini-pumpkins and fresh flowers look pretty and add some color.
We don’t have any changing leaves yet, which I am not too sad about yet, even though they do add nice color.
I trimmed a few branches off of my Ninebark bush instead. The leaves have a lovely purple green color. And I did break down and buy one really cool and warty pumpkin. I was going to wait until we were a little bit closer to Halloween to buy more real pumpkins. You may see this pumpkin in several shots until then.:) I love this big glass vase. Last year for my Fall home tour I used maple tree seedlings.
On the mantel I added some sunflowers and marigolds with some mini-pumpkins. I am enjoying them as much as I can until we get our first frost.
I have some purple grasses in the front of the house, and I snipped a few of the grass heads and added them to a pretty vase for some simple fall living room decor. I love decorating with things I can find in my yard (or maybe my neighbors yard if they aren’t looking.. ha ha just kidding.).
I added one of my Ready for Fall pumpkin pillows to the extra chair. This is one of my favorite pillows and best sellers! You can find it here in my shop.
Stop by tomorrow for an extra little fall tour including my dining area. Make sure to see all of the others bloggers beautiful fall living room decor and family rooms decorated on the Farmhouse series!
