Upcoming Spring Watercolor and Mixed Media Workshops
Spring is almost here and so are upcoming spring watercolor and mixed media workshops in person workshops in Illinois! It feels so good to be able to gather together and create again! I’ll be teaching two really fun workshops coming up! One at Grow Geneva and the other at Blumen Gardens.

The first workshop I’ll be teaching on March 12th is at the beautiful store Grow Geneva in Geneva, Illinois.
We’ll spend time painting a pretty watercolor spring wreath with easy watercolor techniques. All materials will be provided and each person will leave with a completed piece of artwork and a mat for framing. We’ll play with both watercolor pencils and regular watercolor paints. Register here to grab your spot!

Aren’t these mushrooms sweet? They remind me of a fairy ring in the forest with their whimsical nature!

Then on March 18th, I’ll be at Blumen Gardens in Sycamore, IL teaching a spring branch and nest watercolor.
This is a great workshop for beginners or painters of any skill level! We’ll go step by step to paint a whimsical branch with a nest with blue eggs on the end. This is also an all materials provided workshop and each painter will leave with a completed artwork and a mat for framing. You can register for that workshop here.

I love the idea of a nest and twig for spring with just a little bit of greenery pocking out of the backside. It is so prefect for a spring art print you can hang and add a nice pop of color to your decor.

I am so excited for these spring watercolor workshops and to spend time with you creating in these beautiful settings! Looking for some art to make in the mean time? Try this how to paint a forsythia branch tutorial.
