Okay, I don’t really have fall porch, it’s more of a stoop, but that’s ok. Stoop’s have lots of possibilities as well. In fact, I have a post coming up to show you all the ways you can dress up that little space!
This post is sponsored by Joss & Main.
The one thing I love about our house is our large lot, and lots of potential for planting. We re-did our front walk a few years ago to give it a more organic and cottage feel. It’s really changed now that everything has finally grown in, and I love it looks when I walk up to the front of our home.
I love the mixture of Sedum, Marigold’s and Mums. As you can tell, the red Mum’s are my favorite!
Since we have a front stoop and not a full porch (which I would love!), I like to keep the pathway clear, but decorate the sides.
I love the mix mums and pumpkins for fall. I love the pop of color that the twig wreath with leaves gives the front door.
I added an extra landing when we redid the walkway area and it extends it a little bit which I love. I added a very cute hello doormat just before you go in. It gives me a place to put an extra pre-dirty shoe mat and few extra pumpkins.
When you come up the front walk, I have this large, awesome metal luminary pumpkin from Joss & Main. I put a cute little faux pumpkin next to it.
The one side of our landing area has faux pumpkins with a hay bale and a large, gray urn with a fun, green patina.
The other side I have these great Joss & Main lanterns and I’ve mixed faux and real pumpkins. Not only does it cut down on the cost of buying pumpkins year after year, but it fools the critters for a while too.
I love having out little “fall porch” decorated for various holidays. It’s such a nice way to feel a warm welcome when coming home!
Make sure you visit these other fall porches all decked out!!
