2023 Holiday Housewalk Day 1

Welcome to the 2023 Holiday Housewalk Day 1! I am so excited to have you here to share some holiday joy and beautiful decor with usl While I’ll admit, I was on the fence about whether or not to continue it this year, I decided that I needed some Christmas cheer more than ever. While this is a slightly cozier version of previous housewalks, the homes featured are really amazing! There are some new faces for you to see, and always you can go back though older housewalks in the website menu for even more Christmas decorating inspiration.

This year, I wanted to share with you a new adventure I’ve started on. I recently signed the lease for a retail and studio space. I wanted to share with you some of the vignettes and displays I’ve been working on. I know it’s not  a conventional housewalk home, but it’s so important to me and I wanted to share it with you, and thought you would like to see something different than my home…lol.  I am hoping to open my doors before the end of December for some shopping and will run some art classes in January, but time will tell. I’ve been sharing the progress on Instagram and Facebook and some behind the scenes of how we are moving along. You can see some of the vingettes I’ve snapped from around the shop here as the first stop of the Holiday Housewalk.

The second stop on the Holiday Housewalk is a favorite full of traditional and fun holiday decorating! Like Santa, My Golden Boys and Me never fails to deliver ! From the most cheerful Christmas kitchen window laced in greenery, and decor decked in red and plaid with that cute skirt under the sink, to a gorgeous fireplace mantel and amazing tree, her home is a holiday delight!

The next stop on the Holiday Housewalk is On Sutton Place. Ann is a new house this year and this year she is making her porch holiday- ready. I know as you visit Ann’s home you’ll feel instantly welcomed. Make sure you stay a while and look around! I love how she’s added greenery to metal buckets with birch sticks, and how cozy it looks. Even I would enjoy sitting out there and I cannot stand the cold!

Tomorrow we continue the 2023 Holiday Housewalk with more amazing homes! Kicking off the holiday decorating is My Sweet Savannah.
