Christmas Studio and Retail Store Sneak Peek

Welcome in! As the first stop on the 2023 Holiday Housewalk, I am so excited to give you a Christmas Studio and Retail Store Sneak Peek! While there is still a lot of stuff going on where all of the space isn’t so pretty, I wanted to share with you somethings that are pretty and festive!

We’ve been doing a lot of cosmetic work on the inside, so it’s nice to finally be able to start to put out merchandise for the retail side and create fun holiday scenes and vignettes!

This Christmas vignette features a stack of vintage suitcases that I have collected over the years. On top is a gold, glittery mercury glass tree and a jumping reindeer. I found the cutest little bottle brush trees in vintage jars and just fell in love with them! I have them scattered around the store in various places like surrounding this cute ice skaters original painting. On a vintage, white painted stool is Santa, a Christmas tree and pretty snowman ornaments.

I’ll have a mix of new, vintage and handmade in the shop, so this vintage Hans Brinker book pairs perfectly with some hanging glittered ice skates and paper honey comb trees. Of course Christmas snow (glitter) is always required when ice skating.

Bells and swans are vert popular this year so of course I needed to pair them together on a wintery tree. I was also inspired by swans and geese last year for my moody Christmas decor.

Mushrooms are also very popular, and love how these look nestled in a crate of shredded paper. How lovely will these be on a tree? I love red mushrooms at Christmas time! You can see how to make your own here out of clay.

Santa is hanging out on top of a display piece and giving a little wink. He was such a fun vintage find I hate to see him go one day, but I know he’ll be happy in a new home.

And I love this cast iron Santa! He’s the perfect addition to a little vignette or a small space.
