Bedroom Painted in Useful Gray
My client’s home is coming along in this renovation, and I can’t wait to show you the beadboard we just put up in the main hallway. It looks so good! Everything feels like it’s coming back to life there. I know I’ve already shown you room one, in room two, how they ripped out the nasty carpet, exposed the hardwood floors, and washed the walls. Once everything was clean it was time to break out the paint. For me, that is the best part. It makes everything so clean and fresh again!
We used Sherwin-Williams Useful Gray. Gray wall paint can have such an impact like this dark gray wall color. Gray wall paint is certainly trending, especially as it moves into lighter and brighter colors. Well on the horizon white walls are in, gray is always a classic color.
With this wall color it’s actually more of a greige, the nice thing about it is that it still is a neutral, so it will go with almost any color. This gray actually has a little bit of a green and warm undertone, so it has a more organic feel relating to the outside.
I love how it is a very subtle, neutral grey. It’s one of those gray wall colors you could almost use through your entire house. I know that my clients have fallen in love with this color, and the home owners are definitely using this in multiple rooms. One thing that it will do is it will go with the new flooring when it gets installed which is nice. Neutral colors are always good when you’re not sure about what direction to go in your home.
