Book page bead garland
Hi friends! It’s Angela from Number Fifty-Three and I’m so thrilled to be back sharing another craft with you all this month a book page bead garland!
Christmas is such a magical time of year to decorate, but it always makes me a little sad, because it’s such a small window, and before you know it all the decorations are coming down.
I frequently like to craft a few things that work well during the holidays, but can transition to the winter months and beyond.
I recently made this vintage book page bead garland and it definitely fits the bill.
Best of all, it was easy and quick! All you need is a vintage book, paper cutter, pen, hot glue, twine and scissors.
Cut strips of book pages to your desired width (I varied mine). Wrap the strips, one at a time, snuggly around the pen and secure with a drop of glue. Lastly, string onto the twine and knot both ends.
I always love working with vintage book pages. It gives them a new lease on life and I love the graphic qualities they possess.
I adore simple crafts like these! And I hope I’ve inspired your Christmas and post Christmas décor!
