Blog Feature: Design Blogger to Meet Just Destiny Mag

Some of you who have been around here for a while might already know Destiny from my holiday housewalk. I’ve known her for years, and first met her when we were Michaels Makers together way back in 2015. I think she is the most amazing and talented person, and I would love for you to get to know here a little more too. She writes about home, lifestyle, organization, recipes and puts together beautiful tablescapes over at her blog Just Destiny Mag.

 

From the moment you arrive at her blog, you can see her eye for design and decorating.

One thing I love about Destiny is she takes some pretty big design risks. I love how she painted her built-in bookcases an amazing shade of green, and then balanced it with neutral furniture.

 

She has lots of makeovers, and also gives a step by step of how painted her kitchen cabinets; I love how beautifully they turned out! Painting cabinets are such a great transformation for not a lot of money! I also love this powder room makeover!

I really admire Destiny’s ability for beautiful organization! I am lucky if my stuff ends up in a plastic storage bin half of the time shoved in a closet.

 

This linen closet in these baskets is like a dream.

And if the inside of her home isn’t impressive enough, make sure you check out her outside living area. She had me at the full size palm trees and pool!

Her office makeover is both a beautiful and relaxing place, it would me a pretty place to work in.
