Fall Front Porchette with Faux Pumpkins
I have one more tour for you this week full of fall decor! We are sharing our fall porches! Mine is more of what I prefer to call a “porchette” . It sounds so much better than what my from-the-southside-of-Chicago-family would call “the front stoop/step”. I filled my Fall Front Porchette with Faux Pumpkins this year. I love how they look, are easy to throw together, and I can drag them out of storage every year, and box them back up when I’m done. I do occasionally mix in real pumpkins (just like I did here in yesterday’s post.), to make them a little more believable.

I decided to cascade the pumpkins this year off of my front step area, and mix them with some mums and lanterns I had on hand.
Can you pick out which pumpkins are real in these pictures? ……
In the picture with the pumpkins on the left, just the very top mottled one, and white one next to it. In the picture with the pumpkins on the right, It’s the top one on the left, and the two in front. The rest of them are all fake!
A few years ago I got a giant set of metal pumpkins I put out every year. I can even put a light in them on Halloween.
Wayfair doesn’t carry this one anymore, but they do have some other cool metal pumpkins like this one, and this one.
I love how our front landscaping is finally filling in! This year, my mums really grew! If you want to see how you can grow huge mums, make sure to check out this post.
This red one is massive this year!
I love the contrast of the sedum and coral bells.
I hope you enjoyed a little tour of my front walk and porchette! You can see last year’s front porchette here. For more fall porch inspiration, visit the other bloggers below!

Lovely! Could you please share where to find such realistic faux pumpkins? Thanks!
HI Lori,
I’ve been collecting them over the years, but I find Michaels has some realistic ones, and that you can paint them if you want them to look even better. I have a post on it if you search “paint pumpkins”.
Your landscaping is BEAUTIFUL!!! Love all of the colors!
Thank you so much Chloe!
“Porchette” – love it! And you’ve done such a beautiful job, Jen!
Thank you! I love that I can pull them out every year and use them over and over again.
You have the most beautiful garden Jennifer…love all the pumpkins leading to the door…xo
Thank you so much Lucy!
I love your porchette! I have one as well but it’s not decorated as cute as this. Where did you find your fake pumpkins? The ones I’ve seen are either very costly or just don’t look real.
Hi Jenny,
I’ve been buying them at Micheals with coupons. Also, I paint my fake ones to look more realistic.
