My Kitchen Makeover is in September’s Country Living Magazine!

I am humbled. To have my budget kitchen makeover in September’s Country Living Magazine. Wow.
I know they were here and had  a full day of shooting at my house. And I knew it was coming out soon… but it is so surreal…and to actually have the honor of seeing it in real print is humbling. I can’t believe that a dream like this has come true.

I had a nightmare  two nights before it came out that I was throwing  a party at my house for the photographer, the stylist, and the editor . Mid-drink, she told me they had to move it to the January issue. The photographer looked at me and said “Oh, that’s too bad, if they move it to January it means it’s not going to be in at all.” I was crushed and woke up completely upset. Luckily, it was probably just my anxiety coming out. I can get super anxious over the stupidest things.

That day, a wonderful reader e-mailed me that they had received their Country Living Magazine issue and saw my kitchen! I think God was looking out for me and wanted to let me know it was going to be alright… and to stop freaking out like a total spazz.
That’s me, “Rizzo explains..” tee hee hee…

 It was a good lesson to me that even though when bad things happen, and at the time that are so tough and difficult to deal with it seems bleak, that there can be  a silver lining… and  a great blessing. It’s starting to make me look at the really hard times much differently. I know one day I’ll look back on this and know it was all a part of the bigger picture.
So I am so thankful to God to giving for me  a silver lining; and to Country Living for thinking my kitchen is good enough and to all my wonderful readers who have been there when I needed them.
