Painted Linen White Kitchen Cabinets with Coastal Fog and Tapestry Beige Paint

Painting kitchen cabinets is such a great way to update them. Whether you paint them a creamy beige or a warm white , it really changes the look. I can’t believe it’s been just over 3 years since updated our cabinets with white paint!Time has gone so fast. When we first painted it, I had fallen in love with Benjamin Moore’s Bennington Grey. This time I ended up with the New Kitchen Paint Color on the wall Coastal Fog and Tapestry Beige mixed, and looks so good with our painted linen white kitchen cabinets.

Well, 3 years, 3 kids and lots of big things made the walls look a bit dinged up. I just craved something a little bit lighter too. I had a hard time finding  a paint color I really loved and after many paint samples I decided to do my own custom mix. Sometimes it’s just easier to mix your own. I think one day need my own interior paint line. I always want colors they don’t make.I ended up with a mixture of 75% Coastal Fog and 25% Tapestry Beige. It’s a very pretty warm grey with a very subtle green undertone.

My cabinets and woodwork are a warm white Painted in Linen White by Benjamin Moore so they needed  a bit of warmth. I am thinking about repainting them a cooler white, but I can’t summon the courage or the energy yet. 🙂

Vintage chandelier

I think the warmth of the gold on the chandelier will pop more when if repaint the wood work. It definitely really stands out againt the Painted Linen White Kitchen Cabinets.

The kitchen boasts painted linen white cabinets, a marble-topped island adorned with tulips in a vase, and a vintage chandelier casting a warm glow. A stove stands ready as an open door reveals stairs leading to the next space.

Everything looks good in a white kitchen even though wood kitchens are trending now.

Fresh spring flowers on an island

I also picked up a few flowers from Trader’s Joe’s to brighten the space a bit. I love the bit of color they bring.I am also finally finishing up painting the lower level and hopefully the flooring will go in in the next few weeks. It would be great to be able to use it!!! Our ktichen has changed a bit from Painted Linen White Kitchen Cabinets  to a little more dramatic. See how our kitchen looks now with dark green lower cabinets.

  1. The new paint color makes the whole kitchen look serene. I was wondering though, what color is on your hutch?

  2. Your kitchen is lovely, beautiful custom color on your walls. I have a dark kitchen and I am dreaming…
procrastinating….about painting my cupboards too. 🙂

  3. The Linen White and Bennington Grey are so rich looking together, it’s really a shame to mess with that.

  4. Your kitchen is one of my favorites. I hung my silver tray over my stove like you did last year. When someone asks me about it I always tell them you inspired me. 🙂
