Fun DIY Christmas Pillow Swap
HI everyone ! I was invited to be a part of a fun Secret Santa party hosted by Dria, and today I get to share with you what I sent and what I received!I started by sending a pillow cover I stenciled with gold paint with a little gold glitter mixed in and the antler stencils. I wanted to use gold because I thought it was the easiest color to go with any one’s decor. It was a Fun DIY Christmas Pillow Swap!
It was a really easy, and really fast project. I just used a canvas pillow cover from Canvas Corps and stenciled away! Once the paint dried, I also glued a cute little red ribbon on the deer head with fabric glue. I thought it added a nice natural touch.
You can use this stencil and this technique to get the deer head look. I sent my antler pillow to Jazmin over at Frugality Gal. Then it was my turn to get something fun! My gift came from the super sweet Christy over at Confessions of a Serial Do-It-Yourselfer.
I received a really beautiful pillow made from a vintage bed spread. I love vintage linens so this was perfect for my house!
It had really pretty pattern on it with little pearls and it just adds the right touch of brightness. I like that it could easily carry over into January. Those are the best kind of holiday decor!
There were also the cutest handmade mittens were also in my package. I hung them on my china cabinet handles and they add such a sweet little touch. My girls went gaga over them! These are so cute to use year after year! It was so fun to do Fun DIY Christmas Pillow Swap and I hope we do it again next year!

I’m glad you liked your gifts, Jen! If you turn the pillow once more, you will see the silhouette of a Christmas tree. Its not easy to see with the white on white. The way you have it looks almost like icicles though. Heading to Jazmin’s to check out your pillow! Take care! 🙂
Love the stencil! Such a gorgeous design. The pillow you got as a gift is so pretty! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
