Small side table painted furniture makeover
As a Decoart blogger this month, we were challenged to do a painted furniture makeover with their Americana Satin Enamels paint.

I decided to make over a small side table I have. It’s one of those really good sizes that fits in anywhere and can go in almost any room in my house, but it was starting to look a little dated with it’s slightly crackled finish.
I wanted to do something a little different than paint it all once color and call it a day. In the good old days, I started off like a lot of people in my creative journey, I painted furniture and sold it. After a while I really started to hate it, but now that I only do it for myself, I actually enjoy the process and I really like seeing the end result. It still amazes me how much paint can transform something like my living room.
I used Decoart Americana Satin Enamels in Smoke Grey, Warm White
and Pure White
.
I painted the legs and base in Warm white. It’s nice because it’s a nice creamy white.
Then I painted the top in Smoke gray.
I liked the two-toned effect.
Once it was completely dry,I used the small Mandala (12 x12) stencil to create the pattern on top in the Pure white Satin enamel.
I love how it updated the entire table! I love the Mandala accent and how it adds a little something extra!
I styled the top with a fun lamp and vase , which I did not buy in the same place or at the same time, but somehow match each other!
I must have really like the look!
It all has a fun traditional boho vibe!
It’s always amazing to me how a small amount of paint can make such a huge difference. It looks so fresh and clean now, like a brand new piece, like when I gave my kitchen table a whitewashed effect to tone down the orangey colored wood.
This is a sponsored post from Decoart, but opinions are all my own
Love how your side table turned out! Pretty!
