When styling a mantel, don’t be afraid to move a few things around try different combinations if there is something that feels off to you. It’s all about visual weight, not matching. If you notice, I have three large elements on one side, and three on the other. Everything else is kind of filled in around that. Even if you feel like you don’t know where to even start, it’s much easier when you start with a focus-piece. It gives you a good jumping off point.

I started with the bird printable as my focus-piece and built around that. I knew I wanted to add spring  and Easter elements, but I wanted to keep them more on the natural side so I could get a longer time out of them. I didn’t know how long I would be able to look at bright colored Easter eggs for. The biggest thing is to add your large accessories first, and then fill in with your smaller ones.

After I placed my focus art, I wanted to add height  to my Spring and Easter mantel on each end. I put  moss bunnies, and book stacks. Then I added a cute, birch bucket filled with fake eggs on one side.
