A Beautiful Little Cottage Home Tour

Happy Monday!I want to introduce you to the beautiful home of Tricia at Little Cottage on the Pond.  Her home has all of the wonderful cozy touches  that I love! Thank you so much for opening up your gorgeous home to us! She likes to decorate in farmhouse style with a rustic, chippy touch. I love the maps decoupaged on her ceiling, and her farmhouse kitchen is so gorgeous and inviting!  Take it away Tricia with your cottage home tour…
Little Cottage on the Pond came about from my family of 6 wanting to “live smaller”.  Instead of the 3,000 square foot home complete with media room, formal living & dining, as well as a wine cellar…we opted for 1,900 square feet, a “formal” converted to a library, and a bedroom squeezed out of a would be study.  Three bedrooms became four and the one television (with cable) is in the one living room.  Come take a look around our cottage…

My name is Tricia and I am the wife to one amazing guy, momma of four kids, a furniture painter, ex-third grade teacher, lover of books (especially the old ones!), dog owner & self made decorator…but not always in that particular order!

I love the fun of papering my tray ceiling in vintage maps.

And of course our initials framed in vintage white frames above a chippy white desk!

These giant clock hands are one of my favorite things in the front entry.
