Jennifer Rizzo front landscaped walk

Come on up the front path we just finished landscaping into the front door to our little entry area.

Pretty entryway with butterfly printI found this large print at Ikea, It used to be in my daughters room, but once she was tired of it I thought it was perfect for our entry.

Colorful living room with mixed pillowsCome have a seat! I found these amazing pillows at Homegoods.

Livingroom with bright colors and mixed patternsThe curtains are actually tablecloths from Target.

Peonies in blown glass caseThe Peonies look beautiful in a  hand-blown vase I picked up the from the flea market.

Pretty tabletop vignetteI also have a tray on the coffee table with a little vignette.

In the dining area I have another flea market find. I love this giant educational chart.

Large scale educational map in a dining roomAnd more peonies. My mom was generous enough to share them with me.

Pretty bowl full of peoniesWho wouldn’t love an entire bowlful of peonies?

Our kitchen also had a big makeover about 4 years ago. We recently changed out the original kitchen island for a vintage work bench.

  2. I love the Target bird tablecloths. I ordered them and installed as curtains in my guest room. Thanks for the ideas and inspiration!

  4. Love, love, love! Thanks for the tip on the curtains/tablecloths. I think they are exactly what I’ve been wanting for my dining room.

Could you possible tell us the wall colors you used in your entryway? Beautiful!

    1. Hi Katie, Thanks you! The white is Linen White by Ben Moore and the Blue is Winterwood by Ben Moore.

  5. Wow Jen! Your home looks absolutely lovely! It’s so bright and sunny. And I love your living room curtains! I was wondering about those and then read where you got them and that they were a tablecloth! Very cool!

  6. Beautiful colors throughout your home. I did notice one of the kitchen table sitting chairs was missing in one of the shots, do you use 5 or 6 chairs in eating area?

    1. We have 6 but we actually only use 5 regularly. It depends on if it’s pulled over to the computer desk or not. It kind of slides back and forth. 🙂

  7. Stunning… and you know I’m all over anything vintage and old! Adore that biology chart in your dining room especially! And your simple mason jar with a rose… perfection.

  8. beautiful, welcoming home Jen. I love all the whimsy like your curtains & creating them from tablecloths ~ brilliant, the butterfly poster & chart & industrial kitchen island ~ gorgeous & of course all the bouquets of peony. Ours are almost ready to bloom ~ can’t wait.

  9. oh color !!!! love it, beautiful, fresh, happy, inviting….color!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! especially loving your kitchen color accents, awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. Oh so beautiful! I too love all the color. Your kitchen is gorgeous, and I LOVE the educational charts. It is just the perfect piece for in there. Thank you so much for taking us on this summery tour!

  12. Jennifer, your home is so inviting and warm, you can tell a lot of love went into the creation of the finished project , not that it is ever finished, we are constantly changing and our homes reflect that change. I keep bath salts in a jar like the one you have on your new kitchen work table.

  13. Every spot is just gorgeous! I’m lovin’ this tour….off to the next stop. Thanks for letting us all come visit. Lisa~

  14. I loved your kitchen in a magazine I saw but I didn’t understand why there was a curtain
in a door way? Is it to a basement? I just saw your kitchen again and it looks like that door
leads some where? I thought it would be fun to put a Dutch door there with the top open?
Just wondering what treatment you have over the door now-not much of it in the photograph
to tell? I see you changed out your island too, very nice!

    1. HI JolieAnn, We are in a split level and it is our sub-level. Unfortunately there isn’t enough clearance for a door, otherwise I would love to put one there!!! We’ve been at work on our downstairs since last year so we’ve opted to keep it down for now.
