A Touch Of Mint Color Trend In The Home

Are you ready for a rerun of updated 80’s pastels? They’re coming! I’ve been watching spring fashion trends and the mint color trend slowly creeping in. It plays a huge roll in color contrast .I think you will see it paired a lot of varied shades of pink (coral, carmine, etc.) and gold.

I love how fresh it looks, yet it is such a versatile color. It can either be really elegant or very breezy and casual. Mint pairs so well with pink, coral and tangerine which are all up and coming warm desert tones. Here’s a peek at some of the mint color trend coming:

Migoni’s home was ahead of the trend with this dresser makeover.

A mint green dresser, embodying the mint color trend, features two mirrors and decorative birdcages on top.

At Sea by Benjamin Moore, and Sherwin Williams Lighter Mint are some true mint shades. Not just light aqua blues. I love this girlie look with the gold lettering and  pastels.

In the room corner, a wall mirror reflects the bed and golden "It is well with my soul" decor. A wooden table holds two decorative jars, a potted succulent, and subtle touches of the mint color trend for a refreshing look.

This cute I Love Us sign brings is a cute craft and brings a nice touch of mint for your windowsill.

Better Homes and Garden  has a minty paint round up, even though they call it sea glass.

Paint cans with shades of seafoam green, like Eucalyptus and Crushed Cucumber, join the mint color trend. Maroubra, Green Pear, and Clary Sage are labeled alongside sea glass and a seashell on a wooden surface.

And I love how it looks on this piano transformation.

A light blue upright piano, embracing the mint color trend, features a matching bench adorned with sheet music. Decorated with orange glassware, books, two white lamps, and crowned by a circular mirror above, it creates a harmonious and fashionable aesthetic.

And how about a pretty mint and pink color combo for inspiration?

Collage of four images: a cactus by a pink door, a white flower, a plate with three yellow roses, and assorted pastel flowers on a light green background embracing the mint color trend.

Do I have your convinced yet? Are you ready to bring some Mint into your home?

  1. Oh my gosh – I was just thinking of painting my screen porch floor mint with accessories in corals! I was debating over mint and light blue – I think you just helped me make my decision! Thanks, Jen! Have a great weekend!!!

  2. I’m loving the “sea foam” color this year! I’ve added to our bedroom after my hubby brought me a sea foam throw for Christmas. It looks great on our dresser! Can’t wait to see more… I absolutely LOVE that chair!

  3. I just painted a cabinet mint green this morning and I absolutely love it. I had a tiny bit of Annie Sloan Antibes, a whole lot of Pure White. I mixed in a dab of Marine Blue and got the perfect color.
