My Holiday Housewalk Tablescape with Candles and Greenery
I’m joining a group of friends today to share holiday tablescapes. I wanted to share the tablescape with candles and greenery from the housewalk in more detail. There’s even an upclose video posted below. If you missed the holiday housewalk last week, you can start with Day 1 here, and if you want a chance or find out how to be on the holiday housewalk next year, check out this post here.

You can see the video of the dining area below. Check out this post to see my own holiday home tour.
We have a cozy home, and this is our only eating area , so anything I put on the table we need to be able to still eat ours meal at as a family. I do dream about a house someday with a dining room just to dress up that nobody touches, because people are in my business All.Day.Long. around here.
To keep our table useful and pretty, I kept everything right down the center. I first layered a neutral runner, and then over the top, placed a slab of bare wood from the craft store.
I started by adding vintage brass candle sticks, and then boxwood cut from our yard, and extra ornaments we had on hand. After doing that, I layered fresh and faux eucalyptus. We could only find the kind of eucalyptus called True Blue or Baby Blue.
That is the kind that grows upright that every associates with 1980’s flower arrangements (but it’s growing back on me again.), and you normally see bunched hanging in the shower.
I layered that on the ends of the table with some faux Silver Dollar eucalyptus from the craft store, and added not only some extra ornaments, but I snuck in a few Terry’s Chocolate Oranges. I love how they look, and they are one of my favorite candy (dark chocolate of course!).
Even though I am paranoid about candles, the candleight has been one of my favorite parts. For the place settings, I used our every day plates layered with vintage salad plates, some little bowls from Anthro, and of course put some gold foil candy inside.
Who doesn’t love a little treat on their plate at the holidays? Thank you for joining me for a closer look at the holiday housewalk tablescape with candles and greenery! Make sure to visit the other tablescapes below!
