Cute Sherpa Ghost Pillow

Who’s ready to add a little fun to their Halloween decor with a cute sherpa ghost pillow? This is so easy to make and just needs a few simple supplies to make. The best part of this project is that it is made on a pillow cover so you can use a pillow insert  you already have.

Cute Sherpa Ghost Pillow

Supplies to Make A DIY Sherpa Ghost Pillow

White pillow cover (preferably a cotton pillow cover)

Sherpa fabric

scissors

Felt and farbic glue

Black felt

Templates provided below

Black marker

Piece of paper

Draw the Ghost Outline

Flip over the sherpa fabric and use a black marker to trace our your ghost image. If needed, print out our template in an 11 x17 size paper so the image measures 14 inches tall and trace around it.

Cut out your ghost figure

Use the scissors to cut around the black line you have traced.

Glue Your Ghost To Your Pillow

Once your ghost figure is cut out. Place a piece of paper between the inside of the pillow cover to keep the glue from going all of the way through the fabric to the other side. Coat the entire back side of the sherpa fabric ghost with felt fabric.

Once the fabric is coated, carefully flip the ghost over and place it on the pillow case. Press firmly to adhere the glue to the pillow case and let dry.

Add Black Felt Eyes To Your Ghost

Once the glue is completely dry, cut our two ovals from the black felt and apply the felt glue to the back. You can see this post for other eye shape templates.

Position the eyes and press the glue side down to the top of the sherpa fabric on the ghost.

Let the eyes dry completely. Once they are dry,  add a pillow insert into the pillow and enjoy your cute new friend on the couch!
