Midwest Meet-Up Gathering for Midwest Bloggers

I wanted to show you some pictures of the 4th annual Midwest Meet up from the 16th! Sweet Kim was nice enough to send me her pictures because I was so busy, I only snapped  a few! Meeting all of those ladies was amazing and have a gathering for midwest bloggers. And I am. SO.Bummed. We never got a group shot!!!

Some came from out of town, and drove hours. I was so excite to see my good friend Karianne after all of these years, and Heather is a good friend I never knew I had. I finally got to meet Kelly, as we shared our life’s aspirations, I am so glad to have met her! It was so great to meet everyone and I thank you! And Mark as well, whose shop is amazing and hosted it for us! If you haven’t gone you have to go!!!

He finds the best treasures, like Linda’s cow picture. The thing is, amazingly enough,it’s out grown having it in little spaces. I am toying with the idea of making it a 1 day mini-conference next year with speakers. What do you think? Papersource was wonderful enough to have opened their doors to teach us  a little about embossing thanks to Sharon. What a great store. I bought some really cute things!!

We had lots of treats for everyone to snack on, and goody bags that many contributed too. It was as nice as the meet up we had before.

It was so much fun when everyone met each other. It was like old friends meeting for the first time. We all get to know each other through our blogs, but there is something about giving someone a squeeze in person!

  1. Oh Jen, you are simply the sweetest!! Thank you so very much for all the time and effort you put into this truly lovely event! I will be the first to say that the idea of a one day mini-conference just makes me swoon (i know who uses the word swoon any longer…) It was truly a pleasure meeting so many lovely ladies in such a short period of time. Next time, yes this girl is going to make it an overnighter or even a full weekend event. (trust me i know my aunt and cousins would be ticked as we rarely get time together… and who knew it was so close, relatively speaking.)

Once again thank you, Jen, Mark, and Sharon! Oh and Sharon… yes she fed my addiction…. Paper Source, sigh what can I say? paper, glitter, glue, pretty calendars, stamps, and my sweet hubby wandering around wide eyed! What more can a girl ask for?

  2. Oh Jennifer this looks like it was a lot of fun and to put faces with the bloggers how great is that. I am so bummed I missed this so I do hope you do it again. I think the idea with guest speakers would be so much fun. Thanks for sharing and have a great Easter.
