Cover Ugly Walls with Pretty Paint Colors
This little house has great bones and is a sound little house, she’s had some struggles in life. For instance, she has been “paint traumatized”. I picked out some pretty paint colors to give her new life! I know paint color is an entirely personal choice, so personally, I am choosing to repaint and refresh with a new, brighter color.
The color that was already in there was really REALLY dark and life sucking. It’ amazing how the entire paint color choice can make a room look smaller. Those early 2000’s paint colors can be rough.
My mom was a trooper and came to help me get a few rooms started. I picked a pretty paint by Sherwin Williams called Natural Choice, using the Emerald paint line in a flat finish because of it’s ability to cover ugly paint. I just loved how light and airy it felt.
It’s one of those colors that looks white in the can, but once you get it on the walls next to the clean, white ceiling paint, it’s a lovely neutral. Also, it felt instantly calming and the room felt much bigger and less oppressive!
With new carpet and all of the trim painted in a bright, white color, it changes the entire space! It makes me happy just to walk inside the door.

It’s amazing how fresh paint can change an entire space!
This is a sponsored post and have been compensated. All opinions about ugly colors on walls are entirely my own and I picked out all of the much prettier colors myself.

Love the color you chose. I will be painting a few rooms in our home this year too. Can’t wait to see the finished room. Good Luck.
This is fun, I love watching transformations.
