  1. Love, love, love Duck! My children live about an hour away in Chesapeake, Virginia. When I lived there we used to travel down to Duck for long weekends and stay in a cottage one street off the beach. Our favorite place in North Carolina is Holden Beach (much further south) but I don’t think you can beat any NC beach!

  2. Jen,

Absolutely beautiful photography! I love these pictures so much! Can you e-mail me if you get a second…..I have an invitation for you 🙂

  3. Beautiful pictures (except for the spider)! Right before opening your blog I was on the phone with my daughter, talking about our trip to the Outer Banks 2 yrs ago and how we should plan to go back next year! Must be a sign!!

  4. Great pics and a fantastic location. I do have to say though… this Kansas girl thinks that first shot looks awfully tornado-ish! 🙂

  5. It’s a beautiful area isn’t it? Your photos are fabulous. (We did have some storms last week!)I’m lucky to live right by the Currituck Lighthouse and Old Corolla Trading Company. They just started a school in the Old Corolla Schoolhouse which my kids will attend this fall. It’s a picturesque beach town we love.
