Visit Us at the Urban Farmgirl Main Street Market Spring 2021 this weekend
It’s that time of year again, one of my favorite markets! the Urban Farmgirl Main Street Market spring 2021. We’ve done the market every year since it began, and this is the 7th year! It’s Saturday, May 15th from 9 am -4 pm. I always love this market because there are such great vendors! I am excited because the weather is supposed to be awesome and gorgeous.
This year you can find us the one of the buildings near gate 1. I’ll have lots of art prints, originals and new towel designs. You can watch a little video below of the fall 2020 market. It was a little different with masking and social distancing, but it was a still a great show.
One of my favorite things about the market is all of the displays the vendors put together. You can find out more information here on the Urban Farmgirl website.
Some of them are so clever! I wrote this post about displaying and merchandising at a show or market. It’s still one of my favorite parts of the markets to see how clever and creative people are!
And of course the food vendors at the Main Street Market are another awesome part. Mother Wilma’s is always a favorite and has a huge line every time. I’ve known Jamie since the early days of blogging and it’s exciting to see how she’s grown her business!
A few tips if you’re attending…It has been knowing to rain at this market more than once, so come prepared. Boots are always a great option in case it gets damp or soggy. The grounds are pretty wide open, so there is a lot of walking. In the past if you have bought something large like a piece of furniture, there have been porters to take them to pick up spots. Hopefully they’ll have them this time too. Also, many of the vendors don’t have extra space to hold items, so be prepared to make a few trips back to your car if you do a lot of shopping.
I hope to see you there at Urban Farmgirl Main Street Market spring 2021 this weekend! If you can’t make it, you can always find my towels and art at Warehouse 55 in Aurora, IL. I did drop some of my new art and towel designs this week so you can grab them there too!
