Easy Iced Coffee Recipe The Summertime Cocoa-Mocha Iced Coffee
Yep, that’s me. Coffee addict. I am joining in a few other bloggers below with an easy iced coffee recipe because I could drink coffee all day long…. And… pretty much do. It’s my one vice, okay, besides hoarding vintage dishes. I wanted to share one of my favorite summer time coffee recipe with you for that quick afternoon pick up!

This is a super easy recipe that I know you are going to love! I actually like to cold-brew my coffee if I can, which involves 1 cup of finely ground coffee and 4 cups of water. Simply put the ground coffee into the water, cover and leave in your fridge over night. In the morning, patiently pour through a coffee filter and use in your drinks! The strength will depend on your grind and the coffee you use.  I think it’s less acidic this way it will keep in the fridge for a few days.
You can also pre-brew your coffee and stick it in the fridge for a bit, or even refrigerate or freeze leftover coffee and use that. In fact, by freezing your coffee in cubes, you can use that instead of ice and not dilute your drink at all!
For the Cocoa-mocha iced coffee you will need:
-1 cup pre-brewed coffee
-about 5 squirts of pre-made chocolate syrup(I have been known to exceed this however…)
-Whipped cream
-chocolate shavings for garnish
-Ice
You can add a variation of this by adding things like hazelnut syrup, or even a few tablespoons of peanut butter (just blend well!). My favorite is adding in a little peppermint extract. I love chocolate and peppermint together. It makes it almost like a peppermint patty coffee!
Super simple, easy and yummy! And it’s not so bad with a splash of Bailey’s either!

This sounds so good! I had no idea you could cold-brew your coffee like that overnight in the fridge. I will definitely be trying it! 🙂
You might want to rename your drink – moco is booger in Spanish!! 🙂
Perfect – I do the same and freeze leftovers as ice cubes! So re-freshing on a hot one like today!

Yum! Now I just need to make some chocolate syrup…will look online for a recipe. Hopefully there’s one that doesn’t use yucky/artificial ingredients!
trying this tonight……Thanks!
This stuff is fantastic!!! I normally run out to DD EVERY morning to get a small iced coffee. With this recipe, I can now make the EXACT same thing at home. Way better then I expected. Thanks again for sharing 🙂
