Happy Monday and Haven Conference recap 2014…

Happy Monday! I flew in yesterday in time to have dinner with my family and unwind  a bit! I had such a great time at the Haven Conference. It was such a great chance to have met some amazing people.

I wish I had taken more pictures! I was so busy I kind of forgot! In fact I have no pictures of myself teaching in my session either! So if you have some great pics and would share them with me I would be so grateful!

Here’s  recap of what I do have!

Out hotel was really beautiful! It had some great areas for conversation, and a really beautiful outside garden.

And since I normally wear old sweats and paint clothing, I decided to actually dress up a bit. I love a good pair of Palazzo pants.

I also found these cute,wide-legged patterned pants at TJ maxx before I left.

I also was really fortunate to meet the Amazing Christiane Lemieux of Dwell Studio and now the executive creative director of Wayfair and Birch Lane. She was wearing an amazing Marc Jacobs that had a great vintage vibe. She was super warm and friendly. Loved her.

And of course I got a quick pic with Mike Holmes who was quickly swamped with Haven Mavens.

I also learned that if there’s a give away involved, I will pretty much do anything to win. I have no shame.

And Scout and Nimble had my most favorit-est booth ever. Can you say bottomless candy bar at my disposal? Boom! Get me a shovel and a feed bag. And Jesse is just super talented and amazing. I love their branding and her site.Make sure you check it out!!!

And the best part was meeting up with the  great friends that I am separated from by hundreds of miles.These are the few pics I do have, so many times I forgot to take pictures with people that I wish I now I had!

The thing is the sessions were great. I learned a lot. And I always love speaking, but what I really loved most out of the whole experience was connecting with everyone, and  meeting new old friends.
