From the pages of my holiday book Creatively Christmas
HI everyone! I can’t believe it’s been2 years since my holiday book Creatively Christmas has come out! if you had asked me 4 years ago if I ever thought I would actually be a published author, I would have laughed at the idea. Now, I am working on Book 2 and a fictional book as well,I have a stencil line, and licensed products at places like Wayfair and Kess Inhouse, as well as One Bella Casa. Seriousness, if you are just starting out creatively, and you have dreams, follow them. Every little bit you do adds up. My next big dream is to have my designs in Anthropologie ,Pottery barn and Target. Hopefully in another 4 years, I’ll be able to say I did that too (fingers crossed.)!
*Update… I now have my own retail store where I sell my own designs. Pretty crazy!!

I wanted to share a few of my favorite projects from my book,Creatively Christmas: Inspired Yuletide Décor. While there were projects that never made it in, and I recycled them as blog posts,
such as antiqued gold bottles,
and Thrift store Santa makeovers.
There were many that are in the book that I still loved creating, and am glad they missed the cutting room floor.
Like these super cute pom pom and jingle bell trees!
and this botanical chart pieced together with felt. This is actually one of my favorites!
These fun holiday mushrooms are actually my next favorite project!
This North Pole Santa bag uses image transfer and turned out so cute! this project was actually featured in this Decembers Country Sampler magazine Christmas edition!
These were the mugs I demonstrated on my first appearance at our local news station.
This project was featured by Midwest Living magazine last year!
And I was so honored to be invited to beautiful homes for the holidays as well to featured in my book.
all unique in their own way, but amazing and joyful.
If you already have my book I would love your review on Amazon. The more reviews the better!
Thank you guys so much for supporting me and encouraging me on this journey! If you’re looking for holiday inspiration, you can find my holiday book,Creatively Christmas: Inspired Yuletide Décor here!
I have to share that when I received your book (I believe I pre-ordered and waited :), we had just moved for the first time as adults – away from all our family. Because we were new to the area, we also rented an apt for the first time ever. I remember sitting and pouring through the book, soaking up all the ideas. Doing that brought me out of my funk of not wanting to even decorate that apt. I made the pom garland and strung it all around the wall to wall patio doors. Every time I entered that little apt, it made me happy to see it. It is a beautiful and inspiring book 🙂
I have it and I love it. Looking forward to your appearances in Anthro, PB and Target. Then I will tell people, “I know her!!!”
Love your Christmas ideas! Pinning away! Congrats on your second book ad new exciting ventures!
It’s all so adorable and well, as the book title says, creative! I love that Santa mail bag!
