Modern traditional design with vintage elements

This room was done by Nancy, the owner of Serenade, who hosted the #loveyourneighbor designers show house.

Yesterday we took a look at a Rustic Romantic bedroom.

 Nancy had a smaller upstairs bedroom she turned into a sitting room. I would say she had a modern traditional deign with some vintage elements if I had to label it.

She used this gorgeous gold and white floral wall paper and I love how the neutral furnishings lets the gold pop.

I also loved the touches of navy for color.It looked so sophisticated.

The vintage mantel with the prints made a nice statement on the wall. it was a smaller room, so it couldn’t hold a ton of huge things.

She had a beautiful etagere on the smaller wall styled to the nine’s.

I loved his console dresser with the nail head trim too. It looked amazing with the chevron mirror and faux bois lampshade.

This was just such a sophisticated room. I would love to put my feet up and read a fab book here.
